Echelon Sunday Ride Resumes

We’ll ride through town via Olive St - please be mindful of the stop signs and thru traffic - to the water and down the coast through Carp (possible bathroom stop at Viola Fields) to the freeway to Bates. Regroup at the top of Bates at the unfriendly driveway. . Then up 150 to Gobernador Cyn (Goob), with another regroup at the water stop at the end of Goob. Back towards town on the 192 to the Polo Fields at Niedever. Here is a possible split: the easy way back is to go left and more or less return the same way; others may choose a more strenuous route back, turning right to stay on 192, Toro Cyn, etc.

All are welcome to this ride. Helmets are of course required, safe riding and group ride etiquette likewise. Please be mindful and observant of applicable traffic laws  - please don’t blow through stop signs, especially when there are vehicles . Common sense and courtesy are appreciated. If you are unsure of what to do, watch what others are doing, or please ask for instructions! You may be schooled. We are not born with these skills, so don’t be shy.  Remember, on an Echelon ride you are representing not only the club, or whatever jersey you are wearing, but, in the eyes of motorists and pedestrians, you are representative of all cyclists. Also, the skin you save may be mine!

Let’s make a good showing, so if you can please wear current Echelon kit. If you don’t have our cool retro kit, the Voler Team Store is open for business through May 3.
